Waco Foundation

For Waco. Forever.

Waco Foundation is honored to serve as the charitable home for local donors who are interested in making a long-term impact. As the community foundation for McLennan County, Waco Foundation works to improve quality of life for all. This year the Foundation is pleased to announce a new initiative to encourage and foster charitable giving among the next generation of Wacoans — the Forever Fund. This program is led by Betsy Daniels who is an expert at connecting donors to important causes through her role at the Foundation. Betsy recently led the formal launch of the Forever Fund and is working alongside members as they learn about community challenges, engage with a diverse group of peers and community leaders and participate in a grantmaking process to help strengthen local nonprofits. To date, 150 Wacoans have committed to supporting the inaugural year of the Forever Fund.

Annual membership dues are $250 per household. Forever Fund membership contributions are combined with additional funds raised through a unique concert fundraising event that is brand new to Waco. Grant awards are made each year from the Forever Fund to causes and organizations chosen by the members. Waco Foundation and Betsy Daniels invite all community members to learn more by visiting wacofoundation.org/foreverfund or emailing bdaniels@wacofoundation.org. It’s not too late to sign up for the Forever Fund and make a meaningful difference in Waco.
