We have gathered resources for you to keep up with the latest in Waco and McLennan County regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Below you will find a list of links from the City of Waco and other organizations like Act Locally Waco and the Chamber of Commerce who have compiled things like ways to help, local restaurants that are open, activities, virtual events and more. We have also created a list of local boutiques open for online orders or delivery so you can continue to support local businesses and Shop Waco.

Retail to-go started Friday, April 24, according to Gov. Greg Abbott’s order. Customers still may not enter many retail stores considered non-essential, but the stores can offer curbside pickup for items.

Robinson Greenhouse | Customers can shop at the store Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m. or call the store at 254/662-0311. Follow their Instagram for store updates.

Adorn Boutique | Customers can shop their latest products in store Monday-Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m., online at adornboutiquetexas.com or by calling or texting 512/925-7598.

Another Season Consignments | Shop the online store at anotherseasonconsignments.com for trendsetting fashions and a superb array of home décor as well as new and used furniture. They offer curbside pickup. If customers would like to consign items, they can drop items off Monday-Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. Follow them on Instagram for consignment and curbside pickup polices.

Cactus Rose | Customers can shop their collection online at cactusrose.biz. They are committed to shipping out items the same day they were ordered. Follow on Instagram and Facebook for new arrivals and restocked items.

Coming Home to Waco | Customers can shop gifts and home décor in store Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or online at cominghometowaco.com. Offering curbside pickup, shipping and local delivery. Follow them on Instagram for new arrivals and store updates.

Courtney’s Boutique | Customers can shop clothing in-store Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., online at shopcourtneys.com or on their Instagram and Facebook pages through direct messaging. They offer free shipping and curbside pickup.

Creative Waco | The organization has launched an online marketplace created for locals by locals. The site helps local artists and businesses that usually rely on in-person events and stores for sales. It works similarly to Etsy with each local vendor having their own shop. Find it at makeitinwaco.com.

Mary Claret | Customers can purchase homemade clothing, including cloth masks online at maryclaret.com. Also, follow on Instagram for updates on restocked items.

Morrison’s Gifts | Customers can shop in store Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday’s 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by giving the store a call at 254/399-6509. They offer curbside pickup and delivery. Follow them on Facebook to shop products and to be informed about promotions. And for Jon Hart fans, the graduation sale is until May 31.

Fabled Bookshop and Cafe | Customers can buy all the books their hearts desire online at fabledbookshop.com. They offer delivery and curbside pickup for online orders. Curbside pickup hours are Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Follow their Instagram page for new book arrivals and updates.

Gather Waco | Customers can purchase goods in store Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at gatherwaco.com. They offer delivery and curbside pickup. Customers who choose “In-Store Pickup” at checkout will be sent an email to schedule a time to pick up their order.

Prefontaine | Customers can shop in store Monday- Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or online at prefontaineshop.com. Follow on Instagram for new arrivals and store updates.

January Letterpress | Customers can shop Mother’s day, graduation cards and more products online at januaryletterpress.com. Also, follow them on Instagram for new arrivals and store updates.

Paper Crown | Customers can shop all products in store, on their Instagram and Facebook pages through direct messaging and online at papercrownwaco.com. The store offers shipping, curbside pickup and local delivery.

Wildflower Boutique | Customers can shop their collection in store or online at wildflowerboutiques.com. They offer free shipping and free local hand delivery. For more, follow them on Instagram.

Lanes on Austin | Customers can shop online at lanesonaustin.com and place an order by emailing info@lanesonaustin.com or by phone at 254/754-3641. Kindler’s Gem Jewelers | Customers can shop for jewelry online at kindlersgemjewelers.com. They offer curbside pickup and delivery for orders. Customers can also use the curbside pickup service to drop off jewelry to be cleaned, inspected and sized. To place an order or ask a question about a product call or text 254/733-0682.

Spice Village | Customers can shop from their favorite vendors by direct messaging them on Instagram or in store starting May 6. For more information on the re-opening, head on over to spicewaco.com or their Instagram page.

Summer Ellis | Customers can shop the whole jewelry collection online at summerellis.com and have the option of picking it up at Brû by using code “PICKUP” at checkout. Be sure to follow their Instagram page for store updates and new arrivals.

Pretty in Pink Flamingo Boutique | Customers can shop in store, online at prettypinkflamingo.com or on the Instagram and Facebook pages through direct messaging.

G2 by Georgios | Customers can shop their dress collection online at g2georgios.com or by scheduling an appointment to shop in store Monday-Friday from 12 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They offer free shipping on all orders Also, check out their Instagram page for dress options.

The Bear Mountain | Customers can purchase items online at thebearmountain.com or through curbside pickup by calling the store at 254/772-4327. If you are in the market for a new bike or need a part fixed, their bicycle sales and service area is open. Follow them on social media for updates.

Fox and Gray | Customers can shop in store Monday-Saturday from 1o a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday’s noon to 5 p.m. or online at foxandgraywaco.com. Follow them on Instagram for new arrivals and store updates.

James & Reid Home | Antiquities | Customers can shop in store Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at jamesandreid.com. For locals, the team hand-delivers items to your doorstep and offers in-store pickup. Also, if you don’t see what you want online, give the store a call at 254/732-2304, and place an order over the phone. For new arrivals and store updates, follow the store on Facebook.

Waco Custom Marketplace | Customers can purchase food via drive-thru Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Follow on Instagram and Facebook for the menu and any store updates.

Dogtopia | Customers can drop their pets off for grooming, daycare, and grooming by curbside drop-off and pickup Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Customers can request an appointment online at dogtopia.com/waco/.

Formela the Beauty Boutique | Customers can shop products and services in store Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday’s from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They offer curbside, local delivery and shipping options. Follow them on Instagram for store updates.

R&S Barbecue | Customers can come in and place an order for take-out or call 254/424- 9500 to pick up orders. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 11a.m. to 6 p.m.

Baris | Customers can order food for curbside pickup and delivery by calling 254/772-2900. For menu options click here.

Vitek’s Market | Customers can place orders online at viteksmarket.com or call 254/752/7591 for curbside pickup.

Clay Pot Restaurant | Customers can order food online at claypotwaco.com for pickup and delivery. They offer free delivery with a minimum order of $15 within 3 miles, $30 within 5 miles, and $50 within 8 miles.

Griff’s Grill | Customers can order their “Family Pack For 4” and other menu items online at griffsgrillwaco.com or by calling 254/836-4622. Follow their Facebook page for restaurant updates.

Sergios | Customers can place orders at their food truck parked across from Dichotomy or call or text them at 254/495-1913. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

William Hoyt Bagel and Brew | Customers can buy fresh bagels and a variety of spreads and cream cheeses at their food truck parked at Pinewood Roasters Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until sold out. Follow their Instagram tfor updates.

Lula Jane’s | Customers can stop by the bakery and order cakes, baked goods and daily dishes or by phone at 254-366-0862 Thursday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For a full menu, navigate to lulujanes.com and follow them on Instagram!

Abuelita’s Mexican Restaurant | Customers can order food by calling 254-399-6371 or placing an order at their restaurant. Hours of operation are Sunday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Follow them on Facebook for their menu!

Twin Liquors | Customers can order alcohol online at twinliquors.com or on their mobile app with the option to pick it up in-store or have it delivered. Their Bosque and Valley Mills locations are open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Katie’s Custard | Customers can still buy creamy custard through their drive-through and various delivery services that customers can find online at katiesfrozencustard.com. For store updates, follow their Instagram page.

Bru Cafe | Customers can order coffee and fresh-baked scones for pickup and takeout by calling 254/495-1640. Customers can also shop “Bru Survival Kits” that entails their freshly brewed coffee beans and more online here. Be sure to follow them on Instagram for store updates!

THRST Coffee | The iconic coffee cart isn’t serving freshly pour-overs or shakerados, but customers can buy their freshly roasted beans online at thrstcoffee.com. They offer nationwide and local delivery. Follow their Instagram for all store updates.

Valley Mills Vineyards | The vineyard may be closed, but customers can still get their hands on their classic wines by purchasing bottles at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, online at valleymillsvineyards.com/shop, direct message through Instagram or sending an email to valleymillsvineyards@yahoo.com.

La Fiesta and Cantina | Customers can order food for pickup by calling 254/756-4701 or online here. They also partner with Favor and Waiter to have food delivered. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

George’s | Customers can order food for curbside or delivery by calling 254/753-1421 (Speight location) and 254/420-2060 (Hewitt location) or online at georgeswaco.com. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Balcones Distilling | Distillery tours and tasting rooms are closed until June 12, however, customers can still purchase their bottles through curbside pick-up by calling 254/775-6003. Also, Balcones has made an effort to support their bartenders, so with every bottle sold in April and May, $5 will be donated to the United States Bartenders’ Guild and their COVID-19 Relief Campaign. Follow their Instagram page to stay up-to-date.

Nothing Bundt Cakes | Customers can still buy their delicious Bundt cakes through walk-ins or calling the store. To order cakes from their Waco location call 254/307-2525.

Heritage Creamery | Here’s the scoop: the brick-and-mortar is still serving ice-cream by the scoop and pints to-go and delivery to customers! They are open every day of the week 2-8 p.m. Follow their Instagram page for store updates and when ice-cream flavors are restocked.

Pinewood | Coffee bar is open to customers for grab & go only every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can also purchase their local roasted beans and merchandise online at pinewoodroasters.com. For more information about Pinewood, follow their Instagram page.

Dichotomy Coffee and Spirits | To-go coffee bar is open to customers every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the option of curbside or in-store pickup. Union Hall | Customers can call in or order online for carry-out or curbside pickup from their favorite vendors every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Navigate to unionhallwaco.com/vendors/ and follow Union Hall on Instagram for information on how to order from their food vendors.

Milo All Day | Customers can order family style meals for carry-out by phone at 254/235-1243 or online at milowaco.com. Lunch is served every day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 4-7 p.m. Menu of the day is posted on their Instagram and website.

The Olive Branch | Customers can order food for curbside and delivery online at olivebranchwaco.com or call in at 254/757-0885. The hours of business are Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For updates, follow their Instagram page.

Mamaka Bowls | Customers can order acai bowls, smoothies, and coffee for in-store pick up, curbside pickup and delivery through their ordering app. Follow their Instagram page for store updates.

Oh My Juice | Customers can order smoothies, juices, bowls and more online at ohmyjuicewaco.com or through their app (search “Oh My Juice in the app store). (May 15, 2020) The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District has received one new case of COVID-19. The total number of cases is 97, which includes 89 recovered, 4 deaths, and 4 active cases.

  • 2 cases are hospitalized.
  • 89 cases have recovered. There are 4 active cases.
  • 30 people are being actively monitored. This number includes positive cases and their close contacts.
  • 4 deaths in McLennan County. The unattended death from April 8th has been confirmed as having COVID-19.

The new cases is in the 20-29 years of age range.
