12 Days of Whiskey

J.S Barnett’s Whiskey House, 420 Franklin Ave., is kicking off their holiday season in style with their 12 days of discounted whiskey. From Dec. 12—24, enjoy discounted whiskey, and sample from some of the best bottles in their collection this holiday season.

Wild Lights

Enjoy a spectacular light show at Cameron Park Zoo all month long! Every night from 6—9 p.m. kids and adults can walk around the Zoo and meet Santa. This event is included with a general admission ticket.

Lights of West

Families can create Christmas magic at the Lights of West with many other attractions like pictures with our twenty-foot Santa or Snowman, or photos with the live Santa on select weekends. Concessions, a light maze, and letters to Santa are sure to keep your kiddos entertained. New this year, roast marshmallows and enjoy a Christmas movie under our lighted pavilion. The park will be open nightly, 6—10 p.m.

Christmas at the Silos

It’s a month of merry at the Silos, 601 Webster Ave.! They’ve got all sorts of fun planned to keep you in the Christmas spirit. Gather your loved ones and delight in the holiday season together. For more information visit their website.

A New Moon Rises

The Mayborn Museum, 1300 S University Parks Dr., is hosting a new exhibit filled with highly detailed photographs of the moon. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore dramatic landscapes, majestic mountain ranges, lunar poles and much more.

XOXO: An Exhibit About Love and Forgiveness

The Mayborn Museum, 1300 S University Parks Dr., has a new exhibit all about understanding emotions. This interactive exhibit is perfect for families and is open until January 7, 2024. Ticket prices are available on the museum’s website.

Christmas At Fabled

Join Fabled, 215 S 4th St., for a Christmas celebration with a Hot Cocoa bar, Christmas Mad Libs, an in-store scavenger hunt, a giveaway surprise, photo spots and once again: Christmas carols! This evening is come and go from 5—8 p.m., but the caroling will start at 6:30 p.m. Great for families, friends of all ages, and really anyone with a little (or a lot of) Christmas Spirit.

A Very Merry Woodway Christmas 

Join us for A Very Merry Woodway Christmas at the Carleen Bright Arboretum, 9001 Bosque Blvd.! From 5:30—8:30 p.m. meet Santa, celebrate our Christmas tree lighting, shop at the homemade vendor market, enjoy local food trucks, listen to Christmas carols, and so much more!

Ugly Sweater Contest

Truelove’s Bar, located at 414 Franklin Ave. is hosting an ugly Christmas sweater contest! There is a $100 grand prize as well as karaoke all night long starting at 6 p.m.

Trivia Night

It’s Thursday which means it’s Trivia Night at Brotherwell Brewing, located at 400 E Bridge St. Trivia is from 7—9:30 p.m. and each week covers different trivia topics. Be sure to bring a team that has a wide variety of knowledge!

Winter Creations with Art Center Waco

The Art Center, 701 S 8th St., is hosting a holiday craft workshop for the kiddos out on break! Classes are at 10 a.m.—12 p.m. and at 2—4 p.m. Tickets are $5 a kid and grownups get in free. To register, visit their website.

Helberg Barbeque Drive-Thru

Support Helberg Barbecue, 8532 N Hwy 6, by going to their trailer park BBQ drive-thru! They will open at 11 a.m. and go until sold out. Helberg recommends carpooling and viewing the menu prior to arrival to ease wait times.

Holiday Market

Milk & Cookies with Santa & Friends

Harley Davidson, 4201 Jack Kultgen Fwy, is hosting their annual Milk & Cookies with Santa event! From 12—4 p.m., kids can talk with Santa and his grouchy elf while the parents can browse the store! This event is free and open to the public.

Christmas Eve Brunch Buffet
