Camp Fimfo Birthday Celebration

Camp Fimfo, 1000 Chickadee Lane, is celebrating its first birthday in style, all weekend long. Come enjoy incredible events and family fun. Tickets start at $41 and can be purchased at the Camp Fimfo website.

Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of the Texas Collection

Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of The Texas Collection at Baylor – Waco & The Heart of Texas

Rare Texana will be featured at the special exhibit, “Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of The Texas Collection”, located at Carroll Library, 1429 S 5th St. From 8 a.m.—5 p.m., come celebrate the collection at this centennial event. 

Of Warm Impermanence 

Through paintings, sculptures and installation works, this two-person exhibit by visual artists Nathan Clark and Vy Ngo is sure to be a moving and memorable experience. This free exhibition will run from May 26th to July 22nd at Art Center Waco, 701 S 8th St. Art Center Waco hours Thursday through Friday are 11 a.m.5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.2 p.m. 

Da’Shack Farmer’s Market

Da’Shack Farmers Market, located at 925 Houston St., provides fresh produce you can see cut straight from the soil. Da’ Shack offers organic produce, herbs and plants, along with occasional gardening classes and the expertise to answer all your gardening questions. The market is open from 2—6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.—6 p.m. on Saturday.

Stars Over Texas Jamboree: Golden Oldies

Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W Waco Drive, is hosting its monthly, family-style musical variety show. From 7—9:30 p.m., come watch special guest Max Tooker emcee the event along with Cool 101.3, Vicki Dais, Kenneth Elliot, Royce Montgomery, and much more. Tickets can be purchased here

Britt Nicole and Torrie Jarrett: “We Say Yes Night” 

Britt Nicole and Torrie Jarret are hosting an intimate evening of music and inspiration at the Waco Hippodrome Theatre, 724 Austin Ave, from 7—9 p.m. Tickets start at $30. 

Geeks Who Drink

Get your facts right because it’s Trivia Night at Truelove’s Bar, located at 414 Franklin Ave. This evening consists of 60 questions over a two-hour period starting at 7 p.m. There are plenty of chances to win free drinks and prizes throughout the evening!

Songwriter Thursday

From 9 a.m.—4 p.m. The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store, 4721 West Waco Drive, is hosting a drive-thru event to help fill its food pantry with non-perishables. Feel free to come by and donate to a great cause.
