Camp Fimfo Birthday Celebration

Camp Fimfo, 1000 Chickadee Lane, is celebrating its first birthday in style, all weekend long. Come enjoy incredible events and family fun. Tickets start at $41 and can be purchased at the Camp Fimfo website. 

Scooby Doo Mansion Mayhem

The Mystery Gang is in town and they need your help to solve a mystery! The Mayborn Museum, 1300 S University Parks Dr., is hosting this interactive exhibit through August 20. Museum hours Thursday through Saturday are 10 a.m.—5 p.m. and Sunday 1—5 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets!

Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of the Texas Collection

Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of The Texas Collection at Baylor – Waco & The Heart of Texas

Rare Texana will be featured at the special exhibit, “Texas, Your Texas: Celebrating 100 Years of The Texas Collection”, located at Carroll Library, 1429 S 5th St. From 8 a.m.—5 p.m., come celebrate the collection at this centennial event. 

Of Warm Impermanence 

Through paintings, sculptures and installation works, this two-person exhibit by visual artists Nathan Clark and Vy Ngo is sure to be a moving and memorable experience. This free exhibition will run from May 26th to July 22nd at Art Center Waco, 701 S 8th St. Art Center Waco hours Thursday through Friday are 11 a.m.5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.2 p.m. 

Da’Shack Farmer’s Market

Da’Shack Farmers Market, located at 925 Houston St., provides fresh produce you can see cut straight from the soil. Da’ Shack offers organic produce, herbs and plants, along with occasional gardening classes and the expertise to answer all your gardening questions. The market is open from 2—6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.—6 p.m. on Saturday. 

Karaoke Night

Chapter 11 Club, 819 Esther Street, is hosting its Karaoke Night this Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m.—2 a.m.

Stars Over Texas Jamboree: Golden Oldies

Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W Waco Drive, is hosting its monthly, family-style musical variety show. From 7—9:30 p.m., come watch special guest Max Tooker emcee the event along with Cool 101.3, Vicki Dais, Kenneth Elliot, Royce Montgomery, and much more. Tickets can be purchased here

Britt Nicole and Torrie Jarrett: “We Say Yes Night” 

Britt Nicole and Torrie Jarret are hosting an intimate evening of music and inspiration at the Waco Hippodrome Theatre, 724 Austin Ave, from 7—9 p.m. Tickets start at $30. 

Geeks Who Drink

Get your facts right because it’s Trivia Night at Truelove’s Bar, located at 414 Franklin Ave. This evening consists of 60 questions over a two-hour period starting at 7 p.m. There are plenty of chances to win free drinks and prizes throughout the evening!

Songwriter Thursday 

The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill, is hosting its weekly Songwriter Thursday Night from 7—10 p.m. located at 511 S 8th St. This is your opportunity to share your original songs or experience someone’s first time performing. Sign-ups begin at 6 p.m.

Drive Thru Food Drive

From 9 a.m.—4 p.m. The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store, 4721 West Waco Drive, is hosting a drive-thru event to help fill its food pantry with non-perishables. Feel free to come by and donate to a great cause. 


From 5—9 p.m., come experience a traditional French pique-nique in honor of Bastille Day at Fabled Bookshop & Cafe, 215 S 4th Street. Grab a few loved ones to enjoy an evening of conversation and cultural connection. Tickets can be purchased here

Waco Downtown Farmers Market

The Waco Downtown Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m.1 p.m. and is located at 500 Washington Ave. This market features locally grown and produced goods from farmers and artisans within 150 miles of Waco. STEMfest 2023!

The Mayborn Museum Complex, 1300 South University Parks Drive, is hosting a free science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) event from 10 a.m—3:30 p.m. Grab some friends, a few magnifying glasses, and get ready to solve, think, experience, and make!

Flavor Fest of Waco 

Come on down to the foodie event of the summer. Flavor Fest, hosted at McLane Stadium at Baylor University, 1001 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, will feature numerous food vendors, restaurants and food trucks. From 1—7 p.m. come put your tastebuds to the test. 

Puppy Social Hour

Skellington Night Market

Skellington Curiosities, 7524 Bosque Blvd., is hosting an open-air market from 4—8 p.m. The market will have 40 vendors, live music and great food! This event is free and open to all ages.
