1. We have an eggcelent way to celebrate Easter this Good Friday! Elite Therapy Center in Waco will be hosting a sensory-freindly and socially distanced Easter Eggstravaganza for our special needs and different abilities community on April 2 from 1:00-2:30pm. This event will allow families to come meet organizations that serve this community. There will also be Easter games, egg hunting, treats and more! 2. Join Cultivate 7Twelve in welcoming the spring season with their Spring Market, April 2 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday 11:00am – 5:00pm! There will be live music, vendor fairs, and new artwork from artists such as Alisha Koppert and Sean Oswald. To learn more, click here.
3. The madness continues as the Baylor Bears takes on the Houston Cougars in the NCAA’s Final Four. You won’t want to miss the action Saturday, April 3 AT 4:14pm central! To find out more, click here.
4. Looking for a fresh way to celebrate Easter this weekend? Barnett’s Public House is hosting their fourth annual Easter Keg Hunt on April 3rd at 3:00pm! This Easter Keg Hunt will be an intense downtown scavenger hunt filled with riddles, games, and solving clues to find the Easter Kegs. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing teams, the top three best dressed teams, and the best team name! For information on tickets and more, click here.
5. Do you love live Orchestra? Come support local musicians with McLennan Community Orchestra at their concert at the Ball Performing Arts Center on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. This event is free to the public, so grab your tickets while you can! For streaming and ticket information, click here.
6. Join us in helping the planet with the convenience of a drive-thru! The Waco Friends of the Climate will hold a Drive-Thru Styrofoam Recycling Event on April 3 from 9:00am-1:00pm. All you have to do is wear a mask, stay in your vehicle, and bring your Styrofoam materials to the drive-thru! This service is quick and free. 7. Can’t get enough of Baylor Athletics? You’re in luck! Baylor Lady Bears Volleyball will be playing Texas State University April 1 at 6:00pm and Baylor Baseball will be going head-to-head against North Carolina April 1 at 6:30pm, April 2 at 2:00pm and April 2 at 5:00pm. 8. There’s no better way to celebrate Spring than with fresh flowers, produce, and homemade goods! Head to the Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market for all of your spring essentials this Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., located on the 5th Street side of the market.
