1. Meet local author Stephanie Wolfe and her daughter Addie for a celebration and reading of her new release “Authentically Addie.” This inspirational children’s book encourages families to open up conversations about differently abled individuals. The reading starts at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at Cameron Park Zoo. For more information, click here.

2. Put on your rainboots and explore the Lake Waco Wetlands on a guided night hike. Observe and learn about Waco’s wildlife and ecology from Cameron Park Zoo staff as they walk you through the terrain. This program is free of charge and starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. 3. Spring is here, and it’s time to get your garden in shape! Grow your skills with the experts at the Midtex Farm, Ranch and Garden Show. The exhibition will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Extraco Events Center. To learn more, click here.
4. Enjoy a lively tribute to Frank Sinatra performed by Dave Halston at the Waco Hippodrome Theatre. The show includes a lineup of Sinatra’s most popular songs and starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. To find your tickets, visit here.

5. Sport your green and gold this weekend and support the Baylor baseball team as they take on West Virginia. Games will occur Friday through Sunday at the Baylor Ballpark. Click here to see the team’s full schedule.

6. Put your Disney knowledge to the test at Cameron Park Zoo’s Disney Trivia Scavenger Hunt this Saturday. Make your way through the zoo searching for clues and seeing beautiful animals. Team entry is $20. For more information, click here.

7. Enjoy a morning at the market and support local vendors this Saturday at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market. Open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the market has plenty of fresh produce, artisan crafts and lovely flowers to kick off your day. To learn more, click here.
8. Ready to tackle the trails? Test your limits at the Toughest N’ Texas Trail Runs this Saturday in Cameron Park. Races vary in length from 5K to 50K, and all finishers will receive medals. For more information, visit here.
