Waco Wetlands – April 23
What better way to celebrate the earth than to learn about local wildlife? Come learn about nature in Waco with a night hike hosted by Cameron Park Zoo! Zoo staff will guide hikes starting at 7:30 p.m. through Lake Waco Wetlands. This event is free to the public. Bring comfortable shoes and clothes, and rain gear if needed! Waco Farmers Market – April 23
This Saturday stop by the Waco Downtown Farmers Market for fresh produce and delicious food! Shop with local vendors and find the perfect handcrafted goods. The market is open from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. To learn more, click here.
The Wives of Windsor – 22-26
Enjoy a night at the theatre with Mclennan Theatre’s performance of this Shakespearean comedy! Performances will be at the Music & Theatre Arts building on the McLennan Community College campus. Moe Bandy – Waco Hippodrome – April 23

Mission Waco Race One 5k + Fun Run
Lace up your shoes and run over to Jubilee Park for the 9th Annual Mission Waco Race One 5k + Fun Run! This event is held in person, masks and social distancing required, and is also held virtually! This fundraising event will be held Saturday, April 24 from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and will cost $13-18. To register, click here.
Earth Day In Cameron Park – April 24
Ready for some Earth Day education? Join Cameron Park Zoo as they host their Party for the Planet this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Local vendors will attend to educate about green practices and how to help our planet, followed by an Earth Day Scavenger Hunt through the Goose Chase App! Chili Cook-Off
Brotherwell Brewery is turning up the heat this Saturday with their Third Annual Chili Cook-off! Come compete or simply sample chili from each team. Teams will compete for $500 in cash prizes! The Waco Axe Company’s Spring Axe Throwing League is here!
