Saving Bodies, Minds & Hearts, May 6
 
Come learn from your local and regional EMS professionals about safety and wellness. Bring your kids to see the ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and helicopters. They will also receive a free bicycle helmet for attending! This event is hosted by the Heart of Texas Regional Advisory Council from 5 to 7 p.m. at Waco ISD Stadium. To learn more, click here.
 
Go Red for Women, May 6
 
Join the American Heart Association in raising awareness for women’s heart health at the annual Circle of Red Kick-off. Enjoy a virtual acoustic performance by country singer Pat Green at 7 p.m., and receive your own at-home party box. Mom’s Night Out – Havana Nights, May 6

One HOT Music Fest, May 7-9
 
Put on your cowboy boots this weekend for this celebration of Texas music! Enjoy performances by Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, Flatland Cavalry and La Fiera de Olinaga at the Extraco Events Center Friday through Sunday. Ticket prices start at $20. Wacotown Chalk + Walk, May 8-9
 
Join Creative Waco in supporting local art and small business. This two-day event will take over three blocks of Austin Avenue to showcase vibrant chalk murals from Waco artists. Beauty and the Brass, May 8
 
Enjoy a jazz performance by vocalist Calabria Foti and trombonist Bob McChesney presented by the Waco Jazz Orchestra. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Waco Hippodrome Theatre. A Night With Holly Tucker, May 8
 
The Lee Lockwood Library and Douglass Subaru are bringing Holly Tucker to Waco for a special benefit concert. Tucker was a finalist on The Voice and 2019’s Texas Country Music’s Female Vocalist of the Year. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Lee Lockwood Library. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Wild Game Dinner, May 8
 
Help Meals on Wheels Waco reach its fundraising goal of $150,000 at its Wild Game dinner, auction and concert. Feast on wild salmon, venison medallions and more while bidding on items and enjoying the live musical performance by Michael Hix & The Classix. The dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. at The Ranch of Ambassador Lyndon and Kay Olsen. Individual tickets start at $150, and tables start at $500. Dr. Pepper Museum, May 8
 
Celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Dr Pepper Museum! General admissions will be only $2, the same price admissions cost when the museum opened in May 1991.
