Horse enthusiasts, one and all, head to the Extraco Events Center for the Big Country Quarter Horse Association Mini Circuit. Watch riders and their horses compete in a variety of events from western pleasure to hunter to reining and more. The show starts at 8 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Look out! Teens are taking over the library at Teen After Hours: Bad Movie Night. All teens are welcome to join the fun and watch movies so bad they’re almost good. Good morning, Waco! Start your day at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market. Eat some delicious breakfast or shop at any of the great vendors. The farmers market is located at 500 Washington Avenue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 

 
The Waco Mammoth National Monument invites all Junior Rangers for a special Junior Ranger Day. Partake in some fun activities for a chance to earn some badges, including Eclipse Explorer and Jr. Paleontologist. The mammoth site is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the Waco Mammoth National Monument Facebook page for a schedule of events.

Admire original works of seven artists from Central Texas at the Texas Fine Artists Exhibit Art Reception. Art displays will feature mostly oil paintings and a few watercolor paintings of Southwestern landscapes and abstracts. The reception will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Whitehall Center at the Carleen Bright Arboretum. The exhibit runs through February 3.
