2024 is just over a week away and Waco is not short on events. Sure, you could pop fireworks in your backyard and light sparklers in your driveway, or you can celebrate with the rest of Waco at these events! There are several ways and places to spend New Year’s Eve on the town and we have them all right here.
Countdown to 2024
For the families that can’t wait up until midnight, the Mayborn Museum Complex has a celebration just for you! From 1—3 p.m. families can explore the museum, create crafts and celebrate the Mayborn’s 20th Anniversary. The countdown will begin at 2 p.m. with a confetti-filled balloon drop to kick off the new year. Visit the Mayborn’s website for information about the museum.
Bertie’s New Year’s Eve Bash
Bertie’s on the Rooftop hasn’t been around for long, but it is not going to miss celebrating the new year with Waco. Bertie’s is located on the rooftop of the newly added Hotel 1928. This event is 21+ and will feature a champagne bar, cocktails, specialty chefs — and that’s just the food. Bertie’s is partying like it’s the 20s — the 1920s — with its themed decor. As the clock hits midnight, enjoy a complimentary champagne as you watch fireworks light up the Waco sky. To purchase your tickets, click here.
