Waco Lions Park and Kiddieland

Waco’s Own Amusement Park

Lions Park, Waco’s nonprofit amusement park owned by the Waco Lions Park Trust, has entertained several generations of families. It began in 1959 with construction of three putt-putt golf courses, followed in 1965 with the opening of Kiddieland. The Cameron Park train found its new home at Lions Park in 1976 and go-karts were added in 1999. Several rides were added in the last decade including the Go Gator roller coaster and a 40-foot Ferris wheel. Waco Lions Park is a perfect place to gather for a friendly game of putt-putt, parties and fun. Give the young ones an amusement park experience in a safe, affordable place right here in Waco.
