Waco Center for Women’s Health

Providing caring, compassionate health care in elegant, modern facilities.

The physicians at Waco Center for Women’s Health pride themselves on providing the women of Central Texas a complete spectrum of OB/GYN services, including the latest technological advances. They are proud to be the first group in Waco to offer the option of robotic surgery to gynecology patients. Outpatient laparoscopic hysterectomies, in-office endometrial ablations and new techniques in pelvic prolapse repair are some of the other procedures available, allowing effective treatment with minimal interruption to today’s busy lifestyles. “Women today have such full schedules, a six-week recovery is often out of the question. Some of our procedures allow patients to return to normal activities in hours or days instead of weeks,” Dr. Michelle Manning said. For expecting parents, eight physicians and certified nurse midwife Kari Herman offer a variety of options for quality prenatal care. The in-office ultrasound department is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. “Our 4D ultrasound gives families a real-life, moving look at the miracle that is about to enter their world,” Dr. Brian Becker said. Waco Center also offers First Trimester Nuchal Translucency screening, making it one of a small number of practices in Texas to have fulfilled the requirements for certification. Several times each month, a Maternal Fetal Medicine doctor, a high-risk OB specialist, is available in the office to care for complicated pregnancies. This prevents patients from having to travel to Austin or Dallas. Nurse practitioners Beth Truman and Carla Marchesi have years of experience in women’s health and in caring for Waco families. They offer individualized care for women from adolescence to menopause. In conjunction with Providence Healthcare Network and the Women & Newborns Center at Providence Health Center, the group is pleased to continue the tradition of providing caring, compassionate health care in elegant, modern facilities.
