Caring for the Hearts of Central Texas Since 1971
Waco Cardiology Associates is pleased to join the readers of the Wacoan and Central Texans in honoring Dr. William Pitts’ Best of Waco recognition. “It has been and continues to be my privilege to work alongside terrific partners and the superb staff at Waco Cardiology. Working in my hometown for the health of Waco and surrounding communities has been a real blessing to me and my family,” said Dr. Pitts. Together, with his partners, they strive daily to serve our community by providing patient-centered, compassionate, and state-of-the-art cardiovascular care. Since July of 1971, the physicians of Waco Cardiology Associates have been on a mission to provide Central Texans with the most cutting-edge technology and cardiovascular disease treatment options available. The founders performed Waco’s first heart catheterization in 1973. In the following years, the physicians have studied and trained to provide advanced interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures. The clinic was granted the first national accreditation of ECHO, Vascular and Nuclear/PET labs in the area, and most recently began offering Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), WATCHMAN and WATCHMAN FLX procedures. Why travel when you can get the most advanced care available right here in Waco? Waco Cardiology Associates is dedicated to the prevention, detection, and treatment of cardiovascular disease with an emphasis on improving patients’ quality of life for the long term. Our physicians and staff are highly trained professionals. As one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the area, the physicians of Waco Cardiology are experts in all facets of cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. In 50 plus years, Waco Cardiology’s practice has grown to encompass nine Central Texas counties.
