United Way of Waco McLennan County

Helping People Here.

Since 1923, the United Way of Waco McLennan County, formerly Community Chest/United Fund, has been raising contributions from companies and volunteers to help meet the needs of families and individuals in need. United Way has worked with agencies including Family Abuse Center, Heart of Texas MHMR, Advocacy Center, Salvation Army, Arc of McLennan County and Compassion Ministries, to name a few. These agencies and programs provide care and support to more than 41,000 people in the community. As the United Way moves forward, it will continue to examine its role in the community, especially relating to education, income and health issues. United Way’s ultimate goal is to connect citizens to volunteerism through a coordinated and monitored giving program. Get involved today – visit the website or call 752-2753.
