Way, Way Off Broadway in Marlin, Texas
Built in 1925, the Palace Theatre played host to vaudeville acts and silent films during Marlin’s mineral water boom in the early 1900s. During that time, thousands visited Marlin in search of cures to their ailments by taking baths in the “Life Giving Waters.” The mineral water never dried up and neither did the Palace Theatre! Today, you can find upscale dinner theaters and live stage productions in the recently updated main theater room. Other events include the Annual Bluegrass Festival and soon, movies will return to the Historic Palace Theatre! Check out the theater’s website or like its Facebook page to learn more about upcoming events. The next dinner theater will be held November 4, 5, 11 and 12.
