"My child, rise up!"
In the Aramaic words of Jesus, “Talitha Koum” means “my child, rise up.” For 23 years, TKI has provided a brain development program addressing cognitive development, sensory integration and social-emotional health within the context of nurturing relations. Weekdays, year-round on two campuses, this program helps young children develop neural pathways that can last a lifetime. Therapeutic care is also offered to foster children who have either been adopted or are in foster-to-adopt homes.
TKI’s Family Partner assists parents in developing and fulfilling action plans to achieve their own chosen goals. When a child leaves Talitha Koum’s care, a mentor walks alongside them “from kindergarten to college or career. “ Volunteer opportunities abound for individuals and church, civic or school groups. Tours available by request.
