The only thing better than picking up the freshest produce and the best salsa around at the farmers market is doing so with my pups. My dogs go ham whenever the words “farmers market” are uttered, and I’m given the saddest puppy dog eyes when it’s too rainy or hot to take them along. My Australian shepherd, Livvie, loves the excitement of all the new people and smells, and my teacup Yorkie, Bruin, enjoys his rides in the red wagon when the market is too busy for him to navigate. It’s definitely a perfect Saturday morning when we go to the market. —Emily Ober
