In June 2021, Jeanine Novosad Rispoli was sworn in as the President of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and Mark Altman joined the TYLA board as the director for Central Texas. Jeanine and Mark are both Baylor Law graduates with the trial experience and dedication you need. Jeanine was inspired to be a family lawyer because of her adoption. Mark wanted to live a life of service so he served Active Duty with the Navy in the JAG Corps. Jeanine graduated with a BA from Baylor’s University Scholars Program and earned her JD from Baylor Law in 2011. Mark graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, and graduated cum laude from Baylor Law where he received his JD and MBA in 2016. Jeanine’s extensive family law experience includes complex property disputes involving characterization, tracing, and valuation of significant assets. She also has a background in custody and child support matters, including cases involving psychological and custody evaluations. Mark has extensive litigation experience, including as an assistant prosecutor, defense counsel, Special Assistant US Attorney, and as the Staff Judge Advocate for three separate commands. Mark also brings his experience in private practice representing individuals and local businesses. Jeanine and Mark are both active board members of the McLennan County Young Lawyers Association and are committed to other community nonprofits.
