Inspiring Change. Achieving Results
The mission of Prosper Waco is to build an environment in which all members of the Waco community are able to measurably improve their education, health and financial security. Prosper Waco was formed by community leaders to be a collective impact initiative. The vision is a Greater Waco in which all people and institutions work together for the common good. Prosper Waco works as an honest and trustworthy partner, collaborates in community-wide capacity building and respects the distinct and unique roles of organizations and their representatives. The nonprofit sees the community as an interconnected human ecology, and it has the ability to work across social or organizational ecosystems for mutual benefit. Prosper Waco promotes data-driven decision making, focuses on data which helps them pursue organizational goals, and supports systems that positively impact the pursuit of equity in the community. Prosper Waco also works to align existing systems and/or create systems to bring equitable opportunities, and it serves as a resource for community partners that want to demonstrate the impact of their work.
