Pretty in Pink Flamingo Boutique

Opening this Summer

Meet Pip and Savannah May. Pip the flamingo – short for pretty in pink – was the inspiration behind the boutique’s name. Savannah’s lifelong love of flamingos and fashion have come together and found the perfect place to open Waco’s next favorite fashion boutique. In one of downtown Waco’s most charming buildings, Savannah and Pip will welcome customers to the newly renovated shop in the old Curry Office Supply Building this summer. Savannah was born and raised in Waco, and her parents are the husband and wife team behind Greg May Honda and Greg May Hyundai. They are the mentors and investors behind Savannah and couldn’t be prouder of her success. After graduating high school, Savannah decided to forego college until she knew what she wanted to pursue in life. While working at a local boutique that summer, Savannah began dreaming about opening her own shop. Savannah first opened Pretty in Pink Flamingo Boutique online and has been successful with a roster of repeat customers from across the United States. Entrepreneurship runs in her family and the business has truly been a group effort. Her mother designed the logo, her maternal grandmother drew the flamingo and a good friend completed the rest of the artwork. Her sister serves as photographer and model with several of Savannah’s friends posing for fashion shoots as well. And with her success came the opportunity to open her location in downtown Waco on the first floor of the old Curry Office Supply building. Her parents have big plans for the second floor – stay tuned! They are thrilled to be part of the growth and vitality of downtown Waco in a building that she says was, “love at first sight.” Remodeling has begun, and Savannah expects to open in late May. In the meantime, check out the website and follow her progress on Facebook and Instagram.
