Parkview Regional Hospital

Awarded 4-Star Rating

Parkview Regional Hospital was recently awarded the prestigious 4-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid putting the facility in the top 40 percent of hospitals nationwide. Through continual improvements in quality and patient experience, Parkview increased their ranking from 3-stars previously. CMS, part of the Department of Health and Human Services, unveiled this new, expanded Star Ratings Program last year in a national push to increase health care transparency and help patients and family members make informed decisions. The Quality Star Ratings Program ranges from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 being the best, and are based on several things: mortality, safety and readmission outcomes, patient experience, the effectiveness of care, timeliness of care and efficient use of medical imaging. “We are very proud of this achievement and attribute our success to our hospital-wide commitment to quality,” said Bob Honeycutt, CEO of Parkview Regional Hospital. The team at Parkview Regional Hospital is committed to continual improvements so patients and their families receive the best possible healthcare experience close to home.
