Katherine Turner-Pearson is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (#16193), Principal Investigator, Geoarchaeologist, and owner of Central Texas Archaeological Resources. She has over 35 years of experience in prehistoric and historic archaeology, geoarchaeology, geomorphology, soil chemistry, archaeological survey, testing, and excavation, with a thorough understanding of federal and state antiquity laws. As an Archaeologist, Katherine clears the red tape for construction projects for both state and federal agencies, private companies, and municipalities. Katherine is a native Wacoan and is on the boards of the Community Race Relations Coalition and the Waco Vietnam Memorial, and previously the McLennan County Tax Appraisal Review Board, Waco Cultural Arts Fest and American Red Cross. Katherine graduated from both Baylor University (B.A. Archaeology/B.A. Journalism) and Texas A&M University (M.A. Anthropology/Archaeology).
