Women Building Better Communities
The Junior League of Waco (JLW) is a nonprofit organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training.
JLW members reflect a wide range of backgrounds, interests and professional pursuits, working together to identify unmet needs and work for change, making our community a healthier, more vital place to live.
This upcoming year, signature initiatives for JLW include the highly anticipated return of Charity Ball, the annual Women’s Empowerment Summit in partnership with Waco ISD, and new community programs and fundraising events to be announced this summer.
Currently serving its 91st year, JLW welcomes a new member class every fall, and they encourage any woman in McLennan County to join them in service.
