A: Definitely try harder! It pays off in the end.
Q: What has been your favorite and your most challenging subjects?
A: My favorite subject by far has been any kind of math. My most challenging subject is English.
Q: What are your plans for college?
A: I’m going to attend Texas A&M University and study biomedical science, and after that I plan to go to school for veterinary medicine.
Q: Growing up, what is something your mother or father always told you?
A: You can be whatever you want to be or do whatever you want to do in life as long as you have the will to work at it and you’re willing to put in the effort.
Q: Was there one teacher who had a significant impact on you?
A: My teacher Ms. Walker, who teaches math. She’s very avid about what she teaches, and she shows that whatever you have a passion for, you can do it. And she firmly believes that anyone can learn something new.
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
A: There are two things. I grew up as a Baylor fan, but I turned into an Aggie fan because I wanted to go to Texas A&M. And whenever I have spare time, I go to Animal Hospital of Waco and spend time volunteering there.
