Empowering the Vulnerable
Friends for Life provides support systems and services that empower seniors and people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. The organization offers Independent Living programs (including transportation), Quality of Life projects, Life Skills Training, Learning Labs, Money Management, Guardianship, assistance with resources for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs, care coordination (LifeLines) and an Adult Day Center.
Trained and screened volunteers take clients to medical appointments, shop for groceries and accompany them to other activities that enrich their lives. Transportation is provided door-to-door, and the service is free. Volunteer with Friends for Life and change lives!
