Nurturing Women, Transforming Lives

CWJC Waco honors Programs Director Sara Aguirre and Executive Director Lydia Tate, a dynamic team of women in business in the heart of Waco. Alongside community volunteers, Sara and Lydia develop a large supportive community network for those they serve. CWJC Waco is a local nonprofit serving women over the age of 18 in McLennan County since 2003. CWJC provides 100% free educational opportunities that empower women through a holistic approach that fosters spiritual, personal and professional growth and enables women to transform themselves, their families and their communities. Classes include GED prep and testing, money management, computer skills, Bible study, personal relationship growth, resume writing, interview skills, college prep, entrepreneurship and personal wellness. Pairing these classes with tutoring, case management and mentoring empower graduates to become confident, capable employees and community members.
