Home to all Facets of the Visual and Performing Arts
The Bosque Arts Center (BAC) is home to all facets of the visual and performing arts. The non-profit and its subgroups host diverse activities: concerts, community theater, workshops, culinary events, literary meetings, auctions, youth day camps, and art, photo, quilt and songwriting competitions. Jeannie Seely, in concert November 2, is one of many famed entertainers to perform at the venue. The center boasts an impressive art collection built by decades of a nationally renowned show and sale; currently, pieces from a private collection are also on display. Deemed “an outstanding example of a community art center in a rural area” by the Texas Commission on the Arts, the BAC consists of a three-story complex (available for rentals) housing the gallery, two performance/event venues, classrooms, pottery studio and gift shop.
