McGregor High School
Q: What are your study tips?
A: Take breaks while studying. Don’t try to cram a lot of information into one sitting.
Q: What is one thing you wish you’d known your freshman year?
A: Definitely go out and try new things!
Q: What has been your favorite and your most challenging subjects?
A: My favorite subject is anything in the math department. My most challenging subject would definitely have to be macroeconomics.
Q: What are your plans for college?
A: I’m deciding between UT Austin and Texas A&M. My major would have to be biology because I would eventually like to go into the dental field.
Q: Growing up, what is something your mother or father always told you?
A: They would always tell me to put school first and not wait until the last minute to do my homework.
Q: Was there one teacher who had a significant impact on you?
A: My English teacher right now, Mrs. Cervenka, has told us that you shouldn’t just try to memorize facts but you should actually try to absorb the information and learn it because that’s what life really is.
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
A: Before my sophomore year of high school I actually hated sports, especially running. The people that know me now would probably think, ‘What? You hate running? That’s all you do!’ They would probably laugh at me.
