Baylor University for Young People

Baylor University for Young People (UYP) is a summer enrichment program for high-ability/gifted and talented students. On Baylor’s campus, UYP is offered for 3 one-week sessions. Rising 4th-12th graders can attend June 5-9, June 12-16 and/or June 19-23. Courses start at 9:45 a.m. and 1:15p.m. The cost is $70 per course plus an annual $20 registration fee per child. Also available is an all-day UYP option for $250 per week, which includes two classes, lunch and recreation. Primary UYP (rising 1st-4th graders) meets at Hillcrest PDS. “Exploring Archeology” is a Creative Problem Solving Camp June 5-9. Students apply technology to real-world challenges in “Discovering Ideas with Technology” June 12-16. Both camps are from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m daily.
