As a leading therapy group with 13 highly qualified counselors, Archer Counseling Group supports individuals, couples and families through life transitions, challenges and seasons of stress. At the heart of ACG is a simple belief: every person is uniquely created, deeply valuable and shaped by experiences that deserve to be understood with care and respect. They understand that worldview and spirituality often play a central role in emotional wellbeing, influencing how we each interpret our lives, relationships and sense of self.
Grounded in a faith-informed perspective, each therapist honors the role of spirituality in the therapeutic process while meeting every client exactly where they are. Care is never prescriptive — it is collaborative, respectful and tailored to each individual’s beliefs, pace and readiness for growth.

Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Brittany and Cotey Bowman, ACG was built from a shared vision: to meet the growing mental health needs of the Waco community with both clinical excellence and genuine care.
Drawing from their backgrounds in counseling, faith-informed practice and a deep understanding of relational and emotional struggles, the Bowmans set out to create a place where every client could experience meaningful support. What began as a small practice has grown into a trusted counseling group offering a wide range of services for issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges.
Brittany and Cotey both received their MA in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. They consider it an honor to be a part of Waco and to watch their clients experience positive change and healing.
