We presented the People of Waco but there’s an important part of households all around the city: our pets. The loyal, joyfully weird and silly companions that stick by us through it all. And we are here to give them the spotlight that they deserve.
We put a call out to Waco to share their pets and we got so many submissions that we couldn’t fit them all. With each photo that came in, the office was enamored by each little personality that came across on the screen.
Meet the Pets of Waco.

Fun Fact: Ophelia follows a routine. Morning and night, when we’re in the shower, she’s right outside the curtain waiting. When we walk towards the kitchen she zooms in hoping it’s time for a meal or snack. When we turn the lights off, she’s jumps up knowing it’s bedtime and follows us to bed. She follows us around the house to do every little thing. The funny part is we only adopted her about six weeks ago. She’s made herself right at home. Also, Ophelia loves to jump and hang from door handles. Lastly, Ophelia not only enjoys cat TV but actually watches human TV too.

I have the joy of being Popeye’s foster and watching him heal more and more everyday.
