Tailgating
Get hyped for the game at Touchdown Alley, located on the old Floyd Casey turf on the Southeast side of McLane Stadium. Touchdown Alley opens three hours before kickoff and closes 30 minutes before kickoff. It’s free for the whole family to enjoy but bring cash for food and drinks from the many Baylor Partners who will have their own interactive activation site to enjoy.
Join fans as they welcome the players two hours before kickoff at The Bear Walk at the South Plaza. Meet between gates D and A at the South Plaza to cheer on the players.
Catch up on all the stats and stories at the Baylor Alumni Tailgate Show two hours before kickoff — also livestreaming online, on KCEN and KAGS station, and ESPN 1660 — and the Countdown to Kickoff Radio Show an hour before game time.
Sailgating is another way to get ready to cheer on the bears. Dock your boat in the Baylor Basin on the Brazos River and join in this unique game day experience. Be sure to read up on the Texas Parks & Wildlife’s Water Safety Act beforehand.
Homecoming
In 1909, Baylor hosted what is considered the first ever collegiate homecoming celebration as the Baylor family returned to campus to “catch that Baylor spirit again”, as written by Baylor President Samuel Palmer Brooks. Homecoming week is one of the biggest Baylor traditions and this year falls on October 23-28 against the Iowa State Cyclones. Kick-off the celebration with Pigskin Revue October 26-28 showcasing the annual All University Sing winners. Cheer for the Bears at the Extravaganza on October 27 and line up for the big homecoming parade Saturday October 28 before the game.
