In the past few years Waco has been drawing more and more people to the heart of Texas. Whether it’s driving down for a quick day trip to visit Magnolia, staying for a weekend getaway at a bed-and-breakfast or relocating their entire family, people want to come and experience the city we all know and love. While some of Waco’s treasures can be experienced in a weekend visit — any number of trendy boutiques and scrumptious eateries — other gems are found only by planting roots here and joining a local running club or exploring until you find the perfect place for bluebonnet pictures. Every year we ask our contributors what they love about our city, and this year we present to you, in no particular order, 46 reasons to love Waco. We hope this list reignites your own appreciation for Waco and even inspires you to venture out and try something new.
