Friday, August 25

Listen to The Bill & Phil Show live at La Fiesta beginning at 7:30 p.m. Savor a drink and enjoy the night as this two-man show dubbed, “Acoustic Madness” keeps you entertained. Bill Hunter and Phil Wilson, the band members, play a medley of instruments from guitar, tuba and bagpipes to drums, table and the flute. They are sure to fill the evening air with good music and fun!

Make your way down to Slippery Minnow for some great food and fun music by Touch of Grey Band. This three-piece band will keep the night rockin’ with a mix of 60’s and 70’s cover songs including The Beatles, Neil Young and more. They’ll even play some country and a little Celtic music for variety. Their performance begins at 8 p.m.

Stop by The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill to see Sam Riggs perform. This Austinite lives as wild as his performances. He pours his dare-devil persona into his country music. If you love red-dirt music, you’ll love Sam Riggs. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. Kick back, have a drink if you like and enjoy the music.

Saturday, August 26

Due to weather, the 22nd Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival has moved indoors to the Extraco Coliseum with the concert in the Show Pavilion Arena. Drop on by to enjoy some great food and drinks at 6 p.m. Then, enjoy music from Jon Wolfe, Randy Rogers Band and Cody Jinks. Tickets cost $36 the day of the show.

If you love Lake Waco, great food and live music, Slippery Minnow is the place for you. This week, you can see Fenix Theory perform starting at 8 p.m. This eclectic band is known for being the most diverse special events band in Central Texas. Relax with great music and scenic water views.

Love supporting Texas artists? Then take a trip out to Valley Mills Vineyards to see Tours singer-songwriter Donna Beckham perform her original music for the weekly Sip & Swirl event. The winery has a ton to offer including a variety of original wines. Beckham will perform from 8-11 p.m. Visit valleymillsvineyards.com/events for more information.

Pop over to BSR Cable Park for some live music by Joel Wood. Anyone who loves the music of Willie Nelson, Randy Rogers and Whiskeytown will love Joel Wood. A chill vibe will accompany this performance that begins at 8 pm.

Head over to Melody Ranch this weekend for the seven-piece country band 35 South. This Waco-based group will deliver a performance of covers and original music with just enough rock to keep it rollin’. You’re in great hands with this band. Catch the performance starting at 9 p.m.

Sunday, August 27

Kick back at Lakeside Tavern and see Cody Newman. He’ll keep the night fun with a variety of music, including traditional & modern country and rock & roll. Enjoy happy hour while listening to some great music. The show begins at 3 p.m.
