Q: What are your study tips?
A: Plan ahead. Always start studying as soon as I have the all of the information for the test or quizzes.
Q: What is one thing you wish you’d known in your freshman year?
A: Take notes excessively. It is better to be over prepared than under prepared.
Q: What are your school and community involvements?
A: I’m in the National Honor Society at school. I’ve been on the volleyball team for four years and the basketball team for three years. In my community, I often volunteer with the Highland Baptist Church youth group.
Q: With a busy schedule, what do you do to unwind?
A: I most often read or hang out with friends. I also love to cook.
Q: What do you plan to do after graduation?
A: I hope to attend Baylor University to pursue whatever God has in store for me.
Q: What has been your favorite subject?
A: I would say math. I love the accomplishment of solving a difficult problem.
Q: What has been your most challenging subject?
A: History, because it’s hard to remember to remember specific dates, events and people.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
A: It’s not really an accomplishment, but it’s more of a lesson. I’ve learned in my high school career that I can’t please everyone. My actions are always going to upset someone, but I’ve learned that ultimately I just need to please God with the actions of my life.
