Junior League of Waco

Women Building Better Communities

The Junior League of Waco is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Through more than 80 years of service, members have given millions of volunteer hours to support the League’s mission. The League currently focuses its efforts in early childhood education and development for children up to three years old, with the belief that supporting the youngest among us will have an indelible impact on Waco. League members support this focus by participating in community projects and collaborative partnerships. The League also awards grants to organizations with critical needs and to those that are committed to early childhood education and development. The League welcomes new provisional members annually, and invites community members to show their support with a “Friend of the League” membership or to contribute through ongoing endowment efforts. The League also raises funds through the annual Deck the Halls Gift Market, scheduled for November 2-5. For more information please visit jlwaco.org.
