Head to the Hewitt Public Library for exciting, FREE fun this summer. Win prizes with the summer reading program beginning June 4 through July 31 with the kick-off celebration June 9 at Warren Park Creekside Amphitheater featuring a children’s concert by Jim Gill. On June 13, the library hosts Matt Sandbank’s Shadow Factory for three shows, and the Catherine Whiteman Percussion Show will perform twice June 23. Come to Hewitt Park June 27 for Hewitt Hero Day. On July 11, catch Big Canyon Balloon Geology Exhibit at Castleman Creek Elementary School. Don’t miss STEAM Fest & Science Show on July 21, and finish summer off right with Splash Day at Hewitt Park July 25. Participate all summer with “The Sounds of Hewitt” interactive map and Mayor’s Reading Award. Hewitt Dog Days will take place September 29.
