Q: What are your study tips?
A: I really like to break [the material] down into sections and highlight areas. I also like to read and think aloud to myself.
Q: What is one thing you wish you’d known in your freshman year?
A: Freshman year is really easy, and you should enjoy it more.
Q: What is the best lesson you’ve learned from a teacher?
A: To not worry about everything and take things so seriously.
Q: What are your school and community involvements?
A: I’m involved in Link Leaders, student council, National Honor Society, the drama club, UIL academics and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. I also volunteer at Caritas and at Providence.
Q: With a busy schedule, what do you do to unwind?
A: I hang out with my friends. We like to go to Cameron Park on little hikes. We also like to get ice cream. My favorite is strawberry.
Q: What do you plan to do after graduation?
A: I plan to go to college and hopefully figure out what I want to be. Hopefully going to college will help me figure out what I want to do.
Q: What has been your favorite subject?
A: Biology. It’s interesting learning about how things function.
Q: What one word describes you best?
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
A: If I become valedictorian, that would be pretty cool. I did win a decorative blanket at our awards ceremony for being the top of my class once.
