Q: What are your study tips?
A: As soon as you get your material, start studying.
Q: What is one thing you wish you’d known in your freshman year?
A: Your actions have consequences, and do not procrastinate.
Q: What is the best lesson you’ve learned from a teacher?
A: Don’t let others’ opinions dictate your future plans. Do what you want to do.
Q: What are your school and community involvements?
A: I play sports: football, basketball, track. I attend Church of the Open Door and participate in the youth group.
Q: With a busy schedule, what do you do to unwind?
A: I love playing piano, guitar, drums and participating in even more sports.
Q: What do you plan to do after graduation?
A: I plan to attend a four-year college and get a business administration degree and then eventually go onto opening my own advertising company.
Q: What has been your favorite subject?
A: My favorite subject has been English. I love the poetic side of English — writing essays and that sort of thing.
Q: What has been your most challenging subject?
A: Math would have to be the most challenging.
Q: What one word describes you best?
A: Audacious.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?
A: I went to state in piano last year. Piano is one of my favorite things to do. The fact that I put so much effort into it and was able to succeed was very rewarding.
