Greater Waco Chamber
Advocating Green Business Practices

The Greater Waco Chamber introduces the Waco Green Business Network, a program to highlight the green efforts of local business. It is one of the first local efforts in the country to educate, identify, recognize and promote businesses that engage in sustainable practices.

It is your steps to sustainability. Step one: A green checklist to help you get started. Step two: A survey to tell the Chamber your green business practices. Step three: The Chamber will recognize green businesses. Step four: A “business networking” Web site to share ideas, ask questions and learn “How did you do that?” Step five: Add your business to a national online green business directory. The Greater Waco Chamber recognizes that sustainability is good for the environment AND good for business. The Waco Green Business Network involves five easy steps — and the Waco Chamber will do three of them! Visit WacoChamber.com and clink the Green button.
